Indulge in a romantic and boozy treat with this Spiked Valentine's Hot Chocolate.
You can use your favourite alcohol to spike your hot chocolate. Rum, bourbon and smoky mezcal work really well with dark hot chocolate. A creamy liquor is also perfect, Five Farms Irish Cream would be top of our list.
Ingredients
-
60g Bean and Goose Classic Hot Chocolate
240g milk of your choice
60g Alcohol (such as bourbon or rum)
Directions
In a saucepan, heat the hot chocolate and milk of your choice until hot but not boiling.
Remove from heat and let it cool for a minute.
- Stir in the alcohol until well combined.
Pour the spiked dark chocolate hot chocolate into mugs and serve.
Recipe Note
This recipe is also perfect for making in our Dualit hot chocolate makers, available to purchase in our online store. For each serving add 30g of hot chocolate and 120g of milk of your choice to your hot chocolate maker and press play. Add 30g of alcohol into a mug. When the hot chocolate is ready pour it over the alcohol and stir until combined.
