About Bean and Goose

Every bar of Bean and Goose chocolate begins with a belief: that nature, craft, and care should shape everything we create.

The Heart of Bean and Goose

At Bean and Goose, chocolate is more than a craft — it's a way of telling stories.

Stories of Ireland's wild beauty. Of a belief that chocolate should do good, as well as taste extraordinary.

Every bar we make is rooted in the rhythms of nature, inspired by the seasons, and crafted slowly, by hand.

Who We Are: Founders and Craft

Sisters Karen and Natalie Keane founded Bean and Goose with a simple idea: that chocolate could reflect a sense of place, a respect for craft, and a responsibility to the planet.

Our journey began at Last Tree Farm in County Wexford, where nature shapes everything we do — from the way we make chocolate to the way we build our future.

How We Work: Craft, Ethics, Collaboration

We work with Original Beans, makers of the world’s most sustainable chocolate, and collaborate with local Irish producers who share our values.

Every bar, hot chocolate, and sharing slab is made by hand in our Gorey workshop — using no plastic packaging and sourcing with care.

Sustainability isn’t a choice for us. It’s at the heart of every decision, every ingredient, every gift you give.

A Place Rooted in Nature

Our story begins and continues with nature.

From the wetlands that welcome the Bean Goose to the wildflower meadows we steward at Last Tree Farm, every detail inspires the chocolate we craft.

By working with the rhythms of the land — not against them — we believe we can create chocolate that feels as good as it tastes.

Today, Bean and Goose is proud to share Irish craft chocolate with chocolate makers and chocolate lovers around the world.

Thank you for being part of our story.

Karen & Natalie xx
