We started Bean and Goose with big ambitions, to be an Irish chocolate brand with sustainability and creativity at its core. Over the years, we have added to the product range to ensure our chocolate can be found in the spaces and places you want to see it. This year, our tenth year of Bean and Goose, we will begin the next chapter for our brand and add to the customer experience of Bean and Goose.
This summer, we have gently opened The Chocolate Bar. A space within our factory in Gorey where you will find The Bean and Goose team making the chocolate you will taste in the recipes at The Chocolate Bar.
A place where you can see, smell, and taste the most beautiful chocolate.
We can't imagine a better way to create an all-immersive chocolate experience.
The Chocolate Bar Tuesday - Saturday 10 am - 4 pm
The Factory
If you arrive Monday through Thursday, you will see Tanya and the chocolate-making team crafting chocolate for our customers, shops, bakers, cafes, hotels, and you.
The space is full of the hum of machines and the aroma of melted chocolate, roasting nuts, smoking salt, and preparing the recipes for The Chocolate Bar.
You can sip on your chocolate drink or Cloud Picker coffee in The Chocolate Bar and watch the team at work, or if you want to be more hands-on, you can sign up for our chocolate workshop every Tuesday over the summer months.
Or why not pick up your drinks and treats to takeaway and enjoy out and about? The nearest beach is a five-minute drive from our workshop.
Retail Space
We have a dedicated retail space where you can find our products. Everything is held in a temperature-controlled unit and freshly made for the best chocolate experience.
You can pick up your stash of hot chocolate or stock up on your supply of cafe bars.
You can even find our most limited edition flavours, many test creations that will never make it to full-scale production, waiting to be discovered.
We have them all in our Gorey space.
The Chocolate Bar
The newest addition to our experience is The Chocolate Bar. We're two weekends into this project, which sees us get creative using chocolate as the ingredients for our range of hot and cold chocolate drinks, milkshakes, sweet treats, and morning bowls.
We serve Bean and Goose hazelnut chocolate spread, cacao nib cream, salted caramels, and granola. All are made to our recipes in-house using the best chocolate ingredients.
Alongside our chocolate, we serve Cloud Picker Coffee and use Saltrock Dairy Milk.
The Chocolate Bar is a sweet space just inside our roller shutters. We have embraced our industrial vibe and added modular tables and chairs inside and out so you can sit back, listen to the hum of chocolate making, and sip on something delicious.
In time, we will add a more permanent area, and introduce chocolate grazing evenings while sipping delicious natural wines.
It has taken a lot of work to get to this point, and we have plans to build on the Bean and Goose experience. Would anyone like to see Bean and Goose Chocolate Bar popping up near them?
